Omfg! Ok so Nola on 5th So as a huge visitor of Nola I'm always looking for the best food that can rep this in SD. It's not easy to find! Nola on 5th has surpassed my expectations. The food is not over seasoned like many of the others that try to emulate Nola in Cali. The bar tenders Angie is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Any Sunday you should def come and say what's up and eat the Louisiana hot chicken and it's seasoned to absolute perfection !!! Ugh. I am enamored with this space. There's a reason they've been here for so long!!! Again, Angie is amazing!!

We visited here during our Christmas vacation this year and of all the restaurants we ate at in San Diego this was by far my favorite. I've spent a fair amount of time in New Orleans and I can attest this is the real deal. Food was top notch, and the service was amazing. Greg was extremely friends and did a great job taking care of us. Highly recommended! It will 100% be my first stop the next time we come back.

I came here for my birthday and was treated like a king! Brunch at Nola was nothing short of amazing. We over course got the bottomless mimosas. The food was SEASONED! And babyyy let me tell you how I put hot sauce on everything but not that day! More of a sports bar vibe but with that good creole comfort food. Thank you Nola ‍

This spot is awesome to watch the LSU and Saints games. The alumni come here for the games. They have an indoor and outdoor area. There is a downstairs indoor & outdoor area as well as an upstairs area, which is where you'll find the LSU & Saints fans when their team is on. There are tons of TVs to watch multiple games. The servers are all very friendly. Just like most sports bars during football season, it can get packed with service being relatively slow. The food is delicious. I love the Cajun eggrolls. The shrimp Poboy is one of my favorite. They also have a trio dish where you can try jambalaya, red beans and rice, and étouffée. On the lunch menu, you can get half a Poboy and one of the trios as a side. They also have a weekend brunch menu. ***I had my LSU graduation party upstairs with there being around 40 guests. Everything went super smoothly. They brought a bartender upstairs to help us & had a Bluetooth speaker for us to use so we could play our own music. After the party was over one of the bartenders even stopped us while we were trying to pick up (a huge balloon garland, table clothes, etc) & told us she'd take care of it, which was beyond generous since it entailed quite a bit of work. Overall, we had so much fun. Best large party booking experience I've ever had!

A MUST stop to eat at. The spices and flavors are authentic to New Orleans cuisine. Owner/Chef is from the Bayou. The menu is not overpowering. It highlights New Orleans dishes very well. Manager Ollie, servers Anna and Josh, the whole team are fantastic! You're welcomed. Very comfortable. It's the California 3C's; Casual, Cool and Comfortable! You know Guy Fierri filmed Diners, Drives and Dives and loves the food at the establishment
